January Chick Flick Club Pick
My friend L and I recently saw this preview for Leap Year at the movie theatre, and we agreed that it simply must be the January pick for our official unofficial Chick Flick Club. (You can click on that link to see how organize it)
Amy Adams' hair is noticeable cuter and much more like her normal look than it was in the previews I saw for Julie and Julia. I don't think it will be distracting at all.
The Chick Flick Club went on hiatus for the holidays, but we're back and ready to enjoy some fluff! I know I'm not the only one due for a fun Girls' Night because we have 11 "Yes" replies on the Evite already. When attempting to schedule a night out for a group of married ladies and mommies, anything more than two people is always a success, in my opinion!
{Any movies on your "must-see" list?} Wait til you see the February pick!

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)

Somehow I missed this one! Thanks for the recommendation. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHi. Visiting from SITS. I've been wanting to see "Confessions of a shopaholic". I almost bought it in Walmart yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this:)
ReplyDeleteI want to see that movie too! On my list -- we saw the Chipmunks movie last week, so I saw all the previews for kid movies coming out. Tim Burton remade Alice in Wonderland and Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter. Looks awesome! Also, The Lightning Thief was made into a movie (it's an awesome book!)
ReplyDeleteI just saw the preview for Leap Year last night and told me husband I HAD to see it! he rolled his eyes, but yeah, I agree. Can't wait to see that one!!

Duuuuuude, her hair WAS distracting in J&J. I still loved the flick though!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, this is such a good idea for a group of girlfriends! Y'all must have the best time!
ReplyDeleteI must live under a rock, because I haven't heard of that movie. Have fun watching it with your girlfriends. A Chick Flick girls night out sounds like a whole lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny because I have a Chick Flick Movie Club too, we use evites, and we are going to see this movie on Sunday! I'm looking forward to it. Matthew Goode was great in "Match Point" and Amy Adams is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI want to see this movie too! It will probably have to wait until Netflix gets it. And by that time I'll probably forget all about it.
ReplyDeleteAnything with Amy Adams is typically on my must see list. I love her. This looks like a great chick flick. I'm there!
ReplyDeleteThis is a must see movie...I see a girls night out coming soon! Thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
I'm waiting for Alice in Wonderland :)
ReplyDeleteI went to see Blind Side with my Son and it is an awesome movie. It would propaby be more suited for a Date night with your Hubby then a Girl's night out but it is definetly work spending the money to see. Sandra Bullock and Tim MaGraw are both very good in it.
