...stayed home.
We're staying home today, and who knows when the girls will get out of their pajamas?Tomorrow is Michaela Byrd's 2nd Birthday party, and we have lots to do!
Item #1 on the agenda: Clean up the addition...it looks like Toys 'R Us backed a truck up to our house and dumped stuff through the window.
Item #2: Watch the premiere of Project Runway. I missed it last night, and my DVR and I have a date during naptime today.
Have a wonderful weekend. I'll post details about the party next week!
Ooooh! I love birthday parties and am in the midst of planning one right now for Miss Mae, my turning seven-year-old. I can't wait to see how it turns out! Have sooo much fun!

ReplyDeleteWe LOVE pajama days! So much fun and those are the cutest PJs!
Those are some seriously cute jammies. Sorry I missed your partay- I didn't have a new dilemma to add (at least not one that I'm mentally prepared to tackle at the moment!) and it didn't occur to me that I could post a solution to a dilemma. I know exactly what I'll submit for your next party though! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOH cute little piggies! have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOMG this is the cutest thing ever!!
ReplyDeleteI was beginning to feel bad that my son is still in his pjs. I am glad I am not the only one!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking over your blog
ReplyDeleteGreat photos
God bless you
Hey Amanda! I've been out of town and out of touch. I'm sorry that I missed your Dilemmas party--I fully intended to get a post ready for that before I left town and be all tech-savvy and link to your party. . . yeah well. I'm afraid "tech-savvy" is not exactly how you'd describe me. But I read back to see what posts I missed while I was gone, and I was happy to see that you had a good turnout! I've never hosted any kind of linky party; I'm still too chicken to do that. I'm always happy for the chance to join one, though, so I hate that I missed yours!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend!
Amanda- I'm reading Outlander, cause a friend of mine just read all the books in the series and raved about them. And, well, almost anything that takes place on a moor sounds good to me, so I checked out the audiobook from the library. Slow to start, but getting way better. I'm travelling to see my mom this week, so I may have to bring back the tapes and get the actual book.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I used to have the same problem with differing tastes getting in the way of decorating the way I wanted to. It's hard, cause you want to make your husband happy, but you also want it pretty! I am happy to say that Mr. Sahm has mellowed to the point where he just lets me have the house decorated my way because it makes me happy, and he likes me happy. So, in turn, I try to remember that he loves bright vivid colors and use them.
oh my gosh!! precious. I wanna squeeze her :)
ReplyDeleteOh how cute, Amanda! I love the piggie toes! I can't wait to hear about the party! Have a great week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeletePS...Was it you who posted a wonderful burlap wreath and gave a link to the tutorial? I only bookmarked the tutorial and need to give credit when I post mine. Thanks!
Can't wait to see pics for the party!!!! Oh, and if I had cute, pink jammies like those I would stay in them all day, myself!
ReplyDeleteNow that's some cute piggies!
