Spring decided to take a little break here in my part of Virginia, but that's okay because I have a pop of sunshine in my front flower beds.
They're baaaaaack.
My in-laws thinned my daffodil crop for me last Spring, and they grew in so nicely this year. They were rather sparse last year because I didn't take the time to thin them out. I am loving the pretty bursts of color that greet me every time I pull into the driveway.
We still have some weeding and mulching to do, and I'm waiting for my azaleas to bloom, but my daffodils are a nice reminder of Spring, even when she decides to take a little siesta.
Just have to keep explaining to the little ones that these aren't for picking!

Very pretty! I am so glad that it is finally spring! I love the color that daffodil's give us in the spring and the best thing about them is that the deer don't eat them.

ReplyDeleteI love the way your daffodils look. They are so full and colorful. When you mentioned "thinning them" what are you referring to? I transplanted several hundred (atleast it felt like hundred) bulbs last year but they haven't bloomed at all this year :-( Please help~~
