Does something seem odd about this picture?
I'm trying to be a positive person, so I am telling myself that this is a "glass half full" situation, as opposed to a
I would very much appreciate it if you would validate my viewpoint today.
Thank you. That is all.

I concur, it is a delicious treat, errr I mean great decoration.
ReplyDeletei still see lots there-if that were in my house this post would be titled glass empty
ReplyDeletehmmmmmm...I don't really see a problem :)
ReplyDeleteOh, girl! You should see how much of the chocolate at my house is missing! Just fill it back up and nobody will even notice! Definitely hald glass full!
ReplyDeleteHalf full! One for every dish you have washed. Look at all you do!
ReplyDeleteHALF FULL!! I have several half-full bags of candy in the house :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, half full! I always eat so much candy corn in one sitting that I get sick to my stomach. I never know when to stop.
ReplyDeleteHey...did you sneak into my house and take that picture, Amanda? I bought a bag of that stuff...er...for my grandson. I think he must be cutting school and coming over while I'm gone to eat it. Or that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteToo funny! That is why I put my candy corn in bottles...it takes a lot more effort to open up those bottles than it does to dig into a candy jar:)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I just got back from DC today and all my candy corn is gone. Must have been the candy corn bandit.
ReplyDeleteMine is even worse! I think there are maybe 2 candy corns left in it!
ReplyDeleteROFL! I don't even like candy corn and my glass is COMPLETELY empty! Yep hubby and the kids LOVE candy corn!!
ReplyDeleteMelissa's comment had me literally laughing out loud!
ReplyDeleteShe's sooo right, look at how many dishes you've done! You outta be PROUD of that half empty pumpkin. Maybe I need one of those next to my sink and next to the washing machine...
I think they disintegrate in the sun, that is probably what happened. I guess you could put clear tape on the lid to make it harder to open...but now that wouldn't be any fun.
ReplyDeleteWell, you still DO have half the candy and it still DOES look pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh I agree! Definitely half full!! And a side note here...I hate candy corn...so mine would be full and used for decoration only. Ha!
ReplyDeleteHugs
SueAnn
Half full for sure! I left mine empty this year because I know I would eat it until it was EMPTY! Enjoy washing your sippies today and your treats! ;)
ReplyDeleteKim
Definitely half-full!!! I made brownies last night and I see a pan half-full situation happening very soon around here too:)
ReplyDeleteRemember my candy corn-filled hurricane from Monday? Gone. The kids ate it, but I helped out.
ReplyDeleteLOL LOL I vote for half full! And you are enjoying looking at it and devouring I mean tasting it! LOL
ReplyDeleteI still like it! :-) And I love your sense of humor!
It's okay. Live a little. You deserve it for washing all those sippy cups!
ReplyDeleteOh, honey. Not only is that a glass half full--it is SO MUCH FULLER than it would be at my house.
ReplyDeleteI am not exaggerating when I tell you that I bought--and ate--FOUR bags of candy corn. When my jeans started getting too tight, I finally made myself stop. Not because I want to stop, but because I can't afford to buy all new clothes.
And so I stopped. I stopped eating candy corn only when the fourth bag was empty. The only thing I had enough will power to STOP was buying more bags. I am hopeless when it comes to this particular treat!
I am laughing because I have the exact same jar near my sink and the exact same thing happened except mine is nearly empty and I have no children to help to empty it. I adore candy corn and will be glad when it is out of the stores because I have no will power when it is around!
ReplyDeleteHalf full, definitely. The candy corn this year seems to, er, evaporate especially quickly!
