It doesn't feel quite like Friday to me...I have a Blessings Unlimited party to do for a friend tonight, so I'll spend some of today preparing for that in between preschool drop off and pick up, and running some errands. Tomorrow is our big surprise trip to the National Z-O-O! Not sure why I am spelling it, except to be super careful around the girls. Who knows if they secretly read this blog? They have no idea we're going, and we kept it from them partly because we weren't sure what the weather will do...but it looks like we'll be sunny (and windy?), so off we go! Neither girl has seen the National Zoo, and Michaela Byrd's last trip to a zoo was in utero.
Today is the fun day where I share a few of my favorite posts from around Blogland this week, and you get to link up the best post from your own blog this week.
All I ask is that you please include my party button within your post (code is below) OR a link back to me within your post. Don't make me be a meanie and delete your link from the party. Pretty please?
Here are some of this week's favorites:
~Holly made some yummy Homemade Croutons. She's kicking her salads up a notch!
~Sarah caught up on 6 years of scrapbooking in 3 weeks by using Picasa. Check out her Tutorial.
~This Diaper Tricycle over at Southern Fried Dreams is the perfect addition to a baby shower...how much fun is that?
~Beckie dressed her galvanized tins up with some Magnet Labels. Swooning over the font!
~And me? I spent Monday thanking Mr. Columbus for his nautical achievements, and on Tuesday I showed you our genuine Hole in the Wall and how I tried to remedy our decorating dilemma. I also debated the validity of Mr. Longfellow's verse on Wednesday. I am still hosting a great McKenna Layne Designs Giveaway through Sunday! If you're thinking about holiday invites, cards, chocolate bar wrappers, or even luggage tags--this one's for you. You can get an extra entry by linking up to Weekend Bloggy Reading this week (remember, only posts that link back will be considered eligible).
Time to link up your best post of the week to share! Let me know if you need help getting your link to appear.
Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that instead of a link-back:
Party is open for new links until 10 pm (ET) on Sunday.
Have a great weekend!
Hey girl--I'm adding my "antique" shutter post to your party. I really am so happy with the way those turned out! Now I need to get them hung up and finish the rest of my new touches to the guest room. This weekend, though, I probably won't get a thing done. But it's okay. . . it was in the 40's here this morning, so I'm a happy girl wearing my long sleeves. It finally FEELS like Autumn!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links you provided--I saw Sarah's scrapbook tutorial, which was amazing, but I haven't seen the others yet.
