I have another Blessings Unlimited party to do for a friend this afternoon after preschool pick-up, so it will be interesting to see how my kids behave. Thank goodness J billed this party as an afternoon play date. Michaela Byrd can be a bit Linda Blair-ish when she misses a nap, so I pray her head doesn't start spinning around while we are there. Pizza with Mimi tonight, a birthday party tomorrow, church, and a meeting Sunday night round the weekend out. Nothing too crazy. I need to work on choosing light fixtures for the kitchen!
Today is the fun day where I share a few of my favorite posts from around Blogland this week, and you get to link up the best post from your own blog this week.
All I ask is that you please include my party button within your post (code is below) OR a link back to me within your post. Don't make me be a meanie and delete your link from the party. Pretty please?
Here are some of this week's favorites:
{sources listed below}
~Kelli got creative and turned a lemon of a situation into, well, Inside Out Caramel Apples
~I like Gina's simple Un-Mantel.
~It finally (!) feels like Fall here, so Kate's Soup Recipes came just in time.
~Did you know that you can Use Your Cricut to Cut Contact Paper? Ashley will show you how!
~They're voting about Emma Pillsbury's Hair (from Glee) over at What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear?
~And me?
There is an awesome Willow House GIVEAWAY going on this weekend. If you link up to this party (and link back to me!) you'll earn an extra entry! Sunday was the day I showed you some of my best Shopping Scores of the week...the super-skinny jeans came home with me. On Monday, I showed you how to make a Personalized Trick or Treat Bag, and Tuesday was a cute Pom Pom BOO Banner and some Halloween Decor.
Time to link up your best post of the week to share! Let me know if you need help getting your link to appear.
Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that instead of a link-back:
Party is open for new links until 10 pm (ET) on Sunday.
Have a great weekend!
waahhooo-made it early this week!! Soccer and a birthday party for us this weekend and we're finally moving into the 21st century and having a dish installed for TV-it's starting right now, the kids don't know and I can't wait to see their faces! I just might be watching the Disney Channel when they come in this afternoon :)
ReplyDeleteMmm, those carmel apples look good! Going to get that recipe now!
ReplyDeleteHey chicky-love! I like to make up names of endearment - add it to the list of things you know about me and can black mail me with.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! I got my Friday post up early today, too. It must be a full moon...
Have a fab weekend!

Carmel apples = YUM. Bookmarking Kate's recipes, and I'm a big fan of the unmantel.
ReplyDeleteIt feels like either we have 10,000 things to do in a weekend or we have nothing. We were running around like crazy people last weekend, but have nothing this weekend. Thinking we may hit up a fall festival in my hometown, other than that? Soup, raking leaves, bonfires, and just chillin.
Thanks for hosting, happy Friday!

Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteAgain this week I cannot seem to get my linky to appear on your list. I'd lvoe to add it...

Also, I wanted to ask if you have a website for your Blessings Unlimited business? I'd love to see a catalog and am hoping there is one online to view :)
Your giveaway with Carmella is awesome. If I wasn't a Willow House consultant myself I'd be all about entering that one! Love Carmella's blog! And your too! Thanks for hosting this again this week :)
Oh the inside out caramel apples look sooooo sinful, I wonder how that recipie might work with pears? I have a pear tree in my backyard that is flourishing w/ fruit & I need to do something with it, pronto. :-) Hope you have a great weekend. I actually have a post worthy of linking today! My Whimsical Wenesday post :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time linking up - thanks for hosting!

Hey girl! I've been away from my computer so much this week! I've been a single mom this whole week--hubby in Chicago ALL WEEK LONG--and I've hardly gotten a thing done! Ugh!! I was supposed to make lots of headway, but life just kind of got in the way. I tell you, I don't know how single moms do it!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I did manage to write a post this morning and I linked it up. Thank you for hosting this party--it's fun to see what people have been up to! Hope y'all have a great weekend!
Amanda,
ReplyDelete1st of all...I loved your tutorial on the treat bags! I am going to adapt it for making library bags for my kiddos...
I also loved your Willow House Giveaway...I am praying to win! LOL I have been wanting to shop with them for a while but can't fit it in my family budget right now so this would be SO perfect!!!
I've been trying to hook in my post but it just won't go... :-(
Can you help me? Thanks!

It's name is: At His Feet...
Thank you! And thanks for the party! You are such a lovely hostess!
Hi Amanda! I have been challenging myself this week to learn how to do more things for my blog. I now have a blog button, made by me, I made a Kim's Treasures FB page and I added Twitter (I just joined) to my blog. My brain was smoking! LOL! Now I want to figure out how to link to your party. First, I need to do my post, then I'll be back.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your party, today! Hope you have a great weekend!!!
Hugs!
Kim

ReplyDeleteI love your weekly recap, and I esp. love the collage today. Did you make that on Picnik? Love it.
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been absent lately. I've given up on Google Reader completely. It's anarchy around here. I hope you understand, but I wanted to explain. =)
I saw the green sweater and knew I must've missed a post. I had to go back and read it! HA! Thanks for hosting Amanda! Hope you have a great weekend!
