I'm on pins and needles!!! Tomorrow is my annual I {Heart} New York Girls' Trip. My friend Christy and I are heading up to the city for the day to shop, sight-see, and have as much as we can possibly cram into one day. Wish us luck! I'll visit those of you who link up on Sunday.
Today is the fun day where I share a few of my favorite posts from around Blogland this week, and you get to link up the best post from your own blog this week.
All I ask is that you please include my party button within your post (code is below) OR a link back to me within your post.
Here are some of this week's favorites:
~Stumbled upon this precious Burlap Stocking Advent Calendar. Clarissa Emily is crafty AND thrifty...a dangerous combination!
~J'adore Wendy's lovely Glittery Christmas Art.
~Linda showed off her spectacular Ruffled Christmas Tree Skirt this week. Made of, you guessed it, a painter's drop cloth. (My favorite "fabric.")
~My brother-in-law is Home from Iraq. Finally! It was neat to see the picture my sister posted of Sam seeing his daughter for the first time since she was born.
~Richella's post yesterday eased some of that Holiday Guilt that moms tend to experience...do we bake enough, wrap enough, sing enough, decorate enough, play enough?
~And moi?
This week I shared some fun photos from Natalie's Cinderella Birthday Party, I showed you a Christmas Apron I made for my sister-in-law, and I told you about my New Best Friend. He's quite a catch. I'll be crossing my fingers to see how Santa responds to my Letter.
Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that instead of a link-back:
Please leave me a comment with your link included if you can't get your post to upload. That saves me time in having to go and search your blog.
Party is open until 10 pm on Sunday night. Please let me know if you need help getting your link to appear on the list!
{Happy Weekend!}
Aside: I think I'll take a break from Weekend Bloggy Reading for the next two weeks...I'd like to spend more weekend time doing Christmas stuff.

ReplyDeleteJeaulous of your girl's trip. I wanna be one of the girls {whiniest voice}. Y'all have fun and be safe!
ReplyDeleteAmanda! You won't believe this--I just linked up my guilt post, then I read your post! When I saw that you'd featured my post, I deleted my link. I'm SO glad my post touched you, and I can't thank you enough for highlighting it. It just struck me as odd that we all talk about guilt so much at Christmas, just when we're celebrating the birth of the One who takes away our guilt.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a SMASHING day in the city. What a fun, fun tradition. You deserve it! Love you, girl!
Have a wonderful time on your trip! I'm going away this weekend too with my sister and a friend-waahhooo!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog this week! So much fun! Your new best friend needs to come for a visit at OUR house! Yummy!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am going to head over and visit your favs from this week. Thanks for sharing them...some great stuff out there!!!
Hope you have a wonderful time tomorrow in the Big Apple! :D Sounds great!! I have never been there. Can't wait to hear all about it. :D
I am hoping to get a lot of sewing in this weekend...I'll share my adventures with this on Monday. You are right about attaching the apron ties...that is the first challenge I am facing today! Wish me luck!
Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThis week-end my 5 yrs old daughter has a Cristmas Party at the gymnastic school where they do activity and crats and a few hours later we will go see my niece's dance at the school AND after that my SIL is making pasta for everyone so we can all eat together!! Have a good weekend
Have a fabulous time in NYC! I have to admit I'm a little green with envy over here... It's been almost 3 years since I lasted visited the Big Apple. I hope you find some great gifts (and maybe those special boots you've been looking for!) and have a wonderful time with your friend. :)
ReplyDeleteLinking up this week! Thanks for hosting. Hmmmm, what am I doing this weekend. Well tonight is my Husband's office party so that should be fun and then the hubby has plans to go and tackle the last bit of our Holiday shopping.

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that your bil is home. The picture on your sister's blog of the three of them is precious!
Your sister in law looks just like Tamsin Greig from Black Books in that photo! haha... all she needs is a bottle of wine!
ReplyDeleteI want a girley trip!! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteBtw, like the apron!
Thanks for letting me link up! I really love the idea of this link up--so, thanks! Okay, and here's some more bloggy love for ya: I really love the COLORS on your blog. They are just so cheerful, as are your fonts. Just wanted to tell you! :-)
