Here are a few of my faves from this week:
~A fun and cheerful Playroom Makeover from Ange.
~Sarah shared an honest look at her home in her Not Doing it All post. Such an encouraging read!
~Beckie took us on a really fun Home Tour.
~Holly shared a Shoe Makeover that stopped me in my tracks.
~Looking for an inexpensive, but show stopping way to brighten your home? Jen sanded her new DIY Chevron Rug.

I'm currently hosting a fabulous Giveaway from Elmer's so that two lucky readers can host their own craft parties! If you link up to this party and link back to me (in your post please!), you'll get an automatic entry. I also shared Session #4 in my Commenting 101 blog series, General Commenting Etiquette. On Wednesday, I thanked my Followers because my blog topped 1000 Followers! Last, but not least, I shared the tragic tale of my recent Hair Cut.
Time to link up your best post of the week (please take the time to include a link-back or my party button and visit some of the other participants!)Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that rather than a link-back:
Party is open until 10 pm (ET) on Sunday night.
Remember that blog parties work best when bloggers participate, so if you have a chance to visit a few of the other links, you might find a new friend or two!
This weekend will be a little crazy, so it may take me longer than normal to comment on party links. I always do my best to comment on each link, but I can't promise that this weekend. I'm hosting some girlfriends at my house tonight, Natalie is in a fashion show tomorrow, and both girls are going to a birthday party tomorrow afternoon. We're gonna be living it up. {wink} Thanks for your understanding!
{What are you up to this weekend?}
Back this weekend with some highlights from Weekend Bloggy Reading!
(This Code is for blogs featured today!):

ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Busy weekend huh? Ours is going to be busy too, we finally got our move out of the way last weekend but we're helping (my) :-) Natalie's fiancee move into their apt this weekend & then her bridal shower will be Sunday. And oh boy do I have a tale to tell about my sister Nem & my bridesmaids dress fiasco. I'm writing it up now & once I get pictures you can believe I'll be posting it. Lol! See you tonight!

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are going to be very busy this weekend. Enjoy every minute of it!
I can't believe people can be so mean. Whatever is the point of saying something so obviously hurtful. Mean comments have a horrid habit of lingering in my mind. I really hope that horrid one floats away from yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting your lovely party.

Thanks for hosting such a great linkup each week Amanda. I wanted to let you know that although I just linked up my Redneck post from this past week, blogger isnt letting me sign in to my profile so that I can add the button to my post. I will do it as soon as it lets me! Just wanted to let you know Im not shirkin on my duties for linking up!:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
xo,
Sarah
I finally have enough time to read the post you made about commenting. So this answers my question. No-nobody left that rude comment. But yes- you are still wonderful. ;)
ReplyDeleteAmanda, I must have done something wrong with the linky button, because my post went all crazy with the spacing. I removed the button, but it was still off. Tried fixing the html on my post (per a web suggestion), but then my post wouldn't even preview so it is in draft mode until I get things sorted out.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog last week! I have enjoyed hopping around today to various blogs! I am SO sorry that someone posted that comment on your page...ugh! I hope that your positive comments have outweighed that negative one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekending!
Thanks for hosting, Amanda! And don't worry.....your hair will grow back quickly. I know it's hard now, but in a month, you may even like it!Cheers,
ReplyDelete~Laura@hayestone.blogspot.com
I can't believe someone actually wrote that! You have hair like my sister and me, so I know just how hard it can be to control / style! I had my hair cut when I younger, daft hair stylist cut it soooo short some people actually thought I was a boy, but I get the last laugh, I now have lovely curly hair which I won't have to spend a fortune perming when I get old and grey!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting another fab linky party!
Thanks so much for hosting! Such great ideas and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda! Thanks again for hosting this great party. I enjoyed your clever but all too true post on commenting on blogs.
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda, Thanks for the par~tay! Congrats on your first K! ~ osc
