After a looooong deliberation, I settled on the last professional family photo we had taken...and sadly, it was several years old. We had a shoot at a local historic home, and it was one of my favorite sessions ever.
I loved how easy the site made it for me to complete the order in 4 simple steps:
1. Choose the Canvas Size
2. Upload My Photo
3. Select Canvas Borders
4. Apply Image Effects
The only negative that I could come up with is that I wish the preview area for the photo was a bit larger. I couldn't really tell how dark my image was (I went with black and white), and it could have turned out darker than I would liked.
My 11 x 14 canvas is sturdy, good quality canvas, and wrapped tightly and firmly without being stretched too much. I went with the "Image Wrap," which wraps your photo around the borders of the canvas.
I'm a happy camper. For now, my canvas is resting on our built-ins in the Addition, but I want to create a black and white gallery wall in the Family room with my new canvas and some old "heirloom" ancestor photos.

What a great photo of you guys! You looks so cute.
ReplyDeleteI would have a photo of my boys put on canvas and give it to my mom who worships the very ground they walk on (well, Han Solo can't even crawl yet, but you know what I mean). As I am an only child, they are her only grandchildren and it would THRILL her to no end to get a canvas of them. Wow, that was wordier than I intended.
I love this! I would want a photo of my kids at the beach on canvas. I have the perfect one taken a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteOOh - I love this - I would love a pic of my two kids on canvas.
ReplyDeleteI would probably do a family photo just because we haven't really taken one since Eli was a few months old!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great giveaway! My hubby and I have been thinking about getting a few prints done in sepia of the rivers that run through Columbia, SC...the scenes with the big boulder rocks are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteis it wrong to say my cat? ok, probably something from one of our trips, either hawaii or spain. i think. hopefully that is a choice i get to make...thanks for offering this!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! The kids grow up way too fast. I think our family is due for a recent shot, so I'd make sure to get a good one on our cabin trip next month!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of photos on canvas! I would put photos of my grandson, and my 2 dogs. The black and white looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAnd I "liked" easy canvas prints on FB.
Your canvas turned out great! My hubby and I had portraits done last year, and I really need to get one enlarged - a canvas would be really pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI tweeted! :)
ReplyDeleteThe family photos are always my favorite. Guess I'd have to get a family photo taken.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a canvas photo of our family. It's been awhile since we've had one done. Love the canvas look :)

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about the canvas prints everyone was getting a while ago and searching for a deal. Free would be even better! I have a photo of my three kids at the beach that I would use.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice photo of your family. Can you believe how fast they grow?
Very cool! Thanks for sharing! I just found your beautiful site and now I know I'll stop back by again. Happy blogging, decorating, & living-

Your family canvas is great. Thanks for the review and giveaway. I would love one of my college kids!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo, Amanda! You're so pretty and very photogenic, and of course your girls are, too--it's interesting to see them when they're so small! Natalie looks just the same as now, just so little. . . and Michaela Byrd is such a darling baby! T looks a little like "Oh, golly, I'm outnumbered here," but also a little like "I'm so proud of all my girls." :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had wrapped canvas, I'd probably choose a photo of my boys from their younger days. It's so rare now to get a photo of all three of them together! Question: do you supply the company with the negative, the digital image, the actual photograph, or what?
What a great photo! I would love a canvas of my baby girl's 1st birthday photo shoot. She'll be one in less than a month!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family! I would love a canvas print of my youngest son and his bride on their wedding day.
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway!!! I would def. do a pic of our three kids. We do not have any of the three of them together.
