Fresh Home for the Holidays: Shaklee Basic H2 Organic Cleaner Giveaway!

I know I'm not the only one who enjoys the feeling of a fresh, clean home going into the holidays! I recently had the opportunity to try Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate from Shaklee. Today, you'll get a chance to WIN a FREE Basic H2 of your own...keep reading for details and to find out more about these awesome products. I was pleasantly surprised with the way it worked on my kitchen cabinets!

I am always absolutely, completely honest with you guys when I review a product, so I will say that I am not the "greenest" girl out there. I am usually more concerned with what's going to get the job done as opposed to what's in the product. When Latoya from The Scott's Crib, a Shaklee Distributor asked if I'd be interested in reviewing the Basic H2, I was intrigued. I've read a lot about it on other blogs, and I wanted to see if the product lived up to the hype.

After reading about Shaklee, I learned that in addition to the Healthy Home line, they also offer Nutrition, Weight-Loss, and Beauty products. They are all designed to "improve health, work without compromise, and be gentle on the planet."

Okay, I thought. Let's see what this "gentle on the planet" stuff can do.

Enter my white (or formerly white) kitchen cabinets. They are daily subjected to grimy little fingers and a dirty little dog racing around, rummaging through, and streaking the surfaces. They were pretty pathetic looking.

I filled a spray bottle with water and added about 1/4 teaspoon of the Basic H2.

I sprayed down the cabinets and also the cruddy floor around the cabinets. I was surprised to see that I really didn't have to scrub at all...the Basic H2 wiped right off--and the grime went with it! It normally takes some hefty scrubbing with an "magic eraser" to get my cabinets clean. I was surprised! And pleased.

Horrible lighting because of a rainy day...you'll have to take my word for it that the cabinets look as fresh and clean as a summer day!

  5. I've heard little bits about Shaklee products for some time now and have been very interested in one of their starter kits. I usually try to make my own cleaning solutions but sometimes you just need a little something more to get the job done and I'm wondering if this would do the trick and still be natural?!

Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway:)

  7. I've always been skeptical about Shaklee products--well, really, I'm skeptical about all super-concentrated products. But if this cleaned your cupboards that you usually have to use a Magic Eraser on, I'd say that's pretty good! I think I'd want to try the H2 stuff as well.

Now could you please come clean MY cabinets? Pretty please??
