Time to link up your best post of the week. Please remember that this party is dedicated to showcasing your best post of the week--we've had some issues with people linking up 10 or more posts each week, and some of them for multiple weeks in a row.
Rules:
- Please link back to me within your post. I will not feature your link if you don't link back to me.
- No items for sale, shops, etc. and please don't link up the same post week after week.
- Please visit some of the other links--that's how a good blog party works--participation!
Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that rather than a text link-back:
Party is open until 10 pm (ET) on Sunday night.
What are you up to this weekend? I have things around the house to do today and tomorrow, and on Sunday, the girls are heading up with me and my mom to the Washington DC American Girl store. It's part of Michaela Byrd's birthday. They're introducing a new doll this week, so the store has some crafts and activities planned. My girls are so excited to take their dolls up to play and explore!
I hope to be back tomorrow with some highlights from Weekend Bloggy Reading!

Happy Fridaaaaay!
ReplyDeleteI read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (and quickly obsessed over the follow-ups!) last winter.
Thank you for hosting!

Hi Amanda! Thanks for hosting (as always) :-). I linked up my little winter date night idea that we had this week. Thought it might be a fun weekend idea for people. Hope you have fun at the American Girl store. A new doll release should be exciting!!! I'll just be working in my bedroom - doing some painting and such. Such a fun weekend in store - I tell ya!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the link party Amanda! It's been a while since I've done much of any linking up and it feels great to be back.
ReplyDeleteYour closet post has me dreaming of organizing my house...but also sort of already makes me feel like I'm going to fail compared to those photos. Those are amazing.
I love your book list too. I'm going to have add that One for the Money book to my read list. I read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last year and it's good, and very dark at time. I'm also a big fan of the Hunger Games series and I am planning to re-read my all time favorite book, A Prayer for Owen Meany again this year....I highly recommend it.
Have a great weekend and thanks again for your work on the link party!
That craft room is amazing! I need to get on the ball organizing my house soon...it is still a disaster from Christmas break! A trip to the American Girl store sounds like so much fun:) We have plans to work on the Airstream again this weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat features! Thanks so much for hosting each week!
ReplyDeleteI just got suckered into taking my 4 year old and her friends to the American Girl store yesterday. It was pretty fun! Thanks for hosting! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to be joining you for my FIRST link party here! Thanks for hosting. Happy Friday!

Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely enjoying the Growing Your Blog series. And I don't have any plans this weekend, except maybe snowshoeing, which I've only done once - should be fun!
Have a nice time with your family.
Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI want to join your party but I'm not sure how to link back to you within my post, It's my first week with blogging and I haven't quite figures out all the steps. I know how to grab a button and put it on my blog, just not how to do that within a post. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the blog party! I'm adding one about how we like to leave our holiday lights up past New Year's (and longer) to help us get through these dark winter nights.
I loved your closet post this week - just informed my husband we are going to have a de-cluttering weekend! And 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' series is sitting by my bedside - one of my New Year's resolutions to read more this year.
Have a great time at the American Girl story - my daughter loves that place!
Thanks for hosting Amanda! Great features. Have fun with the girls at the American Girl store :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I love the featured posts and I loved your post on organized kids closets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the party! Have fun at the American Girl Doll store - sounds so fun! My daughter has outgrown her dolls :(
ReplyDeleteI'll be working on organizing my craft room this weekend, painting a bedroom and going to my daughters swim meet. Happy Friday!
Oh my word, when this came up in my reader I had to stop and think, "Holy smokes! Is it Friday already??" Thanks for the reminder! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picks this week, Amanda! Isn't Beckie's headboard amazing?! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletehi Amanda-
ReplyDeleteIt is lunch time here and I am mighty hungry, your panini looks delish and after I finish writing this I am going to go make it. Can't wait.
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for hosting the party.
My best- Diane
Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI think this is my first time linking up to your party. I've visited but never joined in.
My fav post this week was an email from my sister in law about "being green". Of course I only did two posts this week...lol. The other was about the books I read in 2011.
I checked out your reading list for 2012 and I too have The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on my list!
It's been recommended to me several times and again just last night from a friend on goodreads. Let me know how you like it!
Happy Friday and thanks for hosting!
Happy Birthday to the little miss! This weekend we're planning to stay home and relax and recoup from the past weekends' festivities! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your little one - have a fab weekend. Its raining here - not worth leaving the house to be honest - will have to find something to entertain the kiddos though. Thank you for hosting xx Nat
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! There have been so many great posts this week - I hope the rest of 2012 is this good!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at panini!! Looks AHHHH-Mazing! Thank you for hosting, Amanda! LOVE your parties! ; )
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Amanda! Love your blog and visiting many of the links!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to check out the link about photography and styling. My pictures are always the worst! It takes so much time to do a post, it seems I'm too lazy to put in all the effort required to take amazing pictures!! As is evidenced by my pictures in the post I linked up. Dark bedroom + tired mom = really crappy pictures!
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda! Thanks so much for hosting! I hope you're having a fabulous New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! This is always one of my favorite link parties. So many great ideas!
