Glitter Easter Egg Tree (Easter Decoration)

I am never able to resist a sparkle. (Seriously, I get distracted) Seeing my friend Mandy's Easter Egg Tree reminded me that I've been wanting one for my own home for a couple of years now. Searches of local craft stores yielded only the metal scrolly kind, until I landed on a white mini tree loaded with glitter at Hobby Lobby. Armed with my 40% off coupon, I loaded it into my cart and paid with a gift card. Score! Here's a peek at a Before and After for my Glitter Easter Egg Tree. 

I wasn't sure if I liked this Christmas tree-ish style, but I think it could actually be really cute for a bunch of different holidays. And, like I said, I love me some sparkle!

I picked up some cute Spring ribbon and glitter foam egg ornaments at our Dollar Tree to decorate with. 

The white planter looked a little plain, so I folded the ribbon in half and hot glued each end down to hold it steady. Then I went to work hanging the eggs and topped the whole thing off with a quick bow, secured with a bit of floral wire. 

Complete disclosure here: My tree doesn't have a home yet because the house is still a mixture of Valentines and Winter decor. Needs to come down pronto!
